UPDATE: First, thank goodness I've lost weight since this, but I did have the dress altered for the wedding. I loved it. The color was nice & for my larger size (at the time) it held me in with some spanx. It was a July wedding so I didn't die from the heat. I wore with silver shoes. It compared to a lot of the more expensive dresses that I tried on.Beautiful, elegant dress. Bought for my son's wedding in July. Lightweight & covers my arms (problem area). I bought a smaller size just so I didn’t have to pay to have it altered. Got the second dress today and I’m glad I didn’t get it first. I would have totally not even considered it. It was TWICE the size. Could barely hang on the hanger. Looked worn and the beads were falling off. I loved this dress! You can tell when I laid the smaller size on top of the bigger one it’s almost twice the size.Sigh. Until I find something else I’ll hang onto the bigger size. I would think with this cost I wouldn’t have to have it altered. If I find something else I’ll send it back too. Just disappointed.
