This is not a thick canvas/ballistic nylon, heavy duty, large, multi pocket, college book carrying backpack.This is a $12, light, water repellent, smallish medium sized, two pocket, easy to carry backpack.The backpack is light and material thin but sturdy and well put together. This is a perfect backpack for running around the city, running errands, going to a fair or festival when all you need is your basics. I bought this to go to Disneyland and not deal with a heavy canvas backpack. I have been able to put in my 13" laptop, a zippered pouch for phone cables, batteries, headphones, also my wallet, keys, commuter card, and a few more items all fit inside.Again, please keep in mind this is a $12 backpack. So far for the last 3 months I have been happy with it and it has held up nicely.
